Test Cases - Hotels
Following details should be displayed to the users in the hotel booking flow. These test cases are in place to minimise the post booking escalations due to non-visibility of the important information.
Pre-Booking Flow:
Hotel Name - Name of the hotel
Hotel category - Star category of the hotel
Check-in time - Guest check-in time at the hotel
Check-out time - Guest check-out time from the hotel
Hotel booking policy - General booking policies of the hotel
Refundable / Non-refundable - If refund is available or not
Cancellation policies - Clearly show free cancellation date and cancellation penalty dates with charges
Lead guest name - Name of the lead guest of the booking
Contact number - Contact number of the lead guest of the booking
Email address - Email address of the lead guest of the booking
Post-Booking Flow:
Confirmation Number - Hotel confirmation number/Provider confirmation number
Hotel Details - Information about hotel’s name, address, contact etc.
Rooms & Lead Guest - Information about booked rooms and their lead guest names
Booking Amount - Information about the booking amount

REFUND CRITERIA for Hotel Bookings in LIVE environment
Please use below mentioned criteria to get refund of LIVE hotel bookings upon full cancellation:
- There should be at least 15 days difference between booking date and the check-in date
- Select Refundable rate only. Go through it's cancellation policy carefully.
- Refund for Hotel booking will be as per the cancellation policy of the booked rate
- Use real guest names in traveller details
**Not following the above criteria will lead to non-refund of booking amount.
