API Certification Guide

This guide outlines the step-by-step process for API partners to successfully integrate and go live with Volt APIs. Following these steps in the given order ensures a smooth, thorough, and compliant integration with TravClan’s systems.

1. Notify Us About Sandbox Integration Completion

Once you have completed your API integration in the SANDBOX environment, notify us immediately. This is a key checkpoint in the process. Our Volt API Support team will get on a call with you to review your integration and provide first hand feedback.

2. Provide Your Website URL & Test Access

Share the URL and test account details of the portal, website, or internal tool where the APIs are integrated. This allows us to verify the integration and run UI test cases.

Provide both test and live environment URLs (as per the certification stage).
You can revoke access after we confirm your Go-Live.

3. UI Test Case Verification

We will execute a set of UI test cases to ensure proper implementation. These test cases are outlined in API Certification section.

4. Perform Test Bookings in Sandbox

Execute a few test bookings in the SANDBOX environment as per the the criteria mentioned in the certification guide. This helps to verify that key use cases are covered and API transactions are correctly recorded.

Share the booking codes of the test bookings for verification.

5. Sandbox Booking Verification

Our team will verify the test bookings in our system and notify you of any issues. If discrepancies are found, you’ll need to fix them before proceeding.

6. Live API Account Setup & KYC

Once your sandbox bookings are verified, we will:

Create your LIVE API account and share the credentials.
Provide the production API endpoint domains.
Grant access to a dashboard where you can manage bookings and add funds.
Require KYC verification to access the dashboard.

7. Share Server IPs & Expected API Load

To ensure security, provide the IP addresses of your servers so we can whitelist them.

Also, share the expected peak API request load (queries per second or requests per second) so our system can handle the traffic efficiently.

8. Perform Test Bookings in Live Environment

Before going live, you must:

Add funds to your LIVE account wallet.
Perform a few test bookings in the LIVE environment (as per the criteria in the certification guide).
Ensure the bookings are refundable and can be canceled without penalties.
Share the booking codes with our support team for verification.

9. Live Booking Verification

We will verify your live bookings and notify you of any issues. If needed, you’ll need to fix any discrepancies before moving forward.

10. API Certification Completion

Once live bookings are successfully verified, we will confirm that your API certification process is complete.

11. Go-Live Approval

Finally, we will check your API configurations and give official approval for Go-Live with the Volt API.
