These four are HTML: sanitize them before showing. Use code for the Day-wise Itinerary API and the Book API.

`departures[]`

One set of travel dates on sale, with its own seats and prices.

Show every departure in a date picker, with its dates, seats left and price per adult. Preselect the first departure that customers can book:

Keep departures where today is between booking_start_date and booking_end_date.
Keep departures with total_available greater than 0.
Pick the one with the earliest travel_start_date.

Disable departures that fail step 1 or 2, labelled "Booking closed" or "Sold out". The selected departure's prices, age limits (max_age_*) and occupancy (min_occupancy, max_occupancy) drive the traveller picker and the price. Send its code as departure_code in the Book API.

`hotels[]`

An included hotel stay. Each item is one hotel stay. day_of_trip is the check-in day and rooms[].rooms[].nights_count is the number of nights, which together give the route line ("3N Pattaya"). Send every stay's code in the Book API hotels.

`hotels[].upgrades[]`

An optional hotel upgrade that replaces the included stay. Priced room by room with the same rule as the package, using the upgrade rates.

Offer each upgrade as an option on the hotel stay it replaces. If chosen, send {"base_hotel": {"code": <hotels[].code>}, "upgrade_hotel": {"code": <upgrades[].code>}} in the Book API hotel_upgrades. The upgrade prices are extra amounts, charged room by room with the same rule as the package price.

`flights[]`

The flight with is_primary: true is the main flight of the trip, to and from the destination. Show its outbound journey on Day 1 and its inbound journey on the last day. Show every other flight on the day given by its day_of_trip, for example an inter-city flight such as Hanoi to Da Nang on a Vietnam package. Send the code of every flight in the Book API flights.

`outbound / inbound`

Onward (outbound) or return (inbound) journey. inbound can be null or have no segments; then show only the outbound flight. A journey with several segments[] is one flight with stops: show the segments in order with the layover between them.
