🔍 Search Hotels API
The Search Hotels API is designed for the initial stage of a user’s journey. It allows users to search for hotels in a specific location — such as a city, airport code, locality, or point of interest — and retrieve geo-location details based on their input.
Additionally, the API returns the cheapest price for each hotel to help display price estimates to end consumers.
Search: Response Keys

| traceId | Unique ID of search session |
| hotelId | Unique ID of the hotel |
| hotelName | Hotel name |
| heroImage | Main image of the hotel, meant for the search results card |
| boardBasis | Meal plan of the rate shown for the hotel |
| refundability | Whether the rate can be cancelled for free |
| cancellationPolicy | Cancellation terms for the rate, made up of one or more rules |
| finalRate | Final price of the hotel's lead rate for the hotel |
Note: tags cannot be used on a fresh search — the internal tag IDs are only available from the /search API's own response. To filter by tags, you must first run a search without this filter, read the tag IDs off the results, and then re-search (or refine) passing those IDs back in filterBy.tags
Nationality codes:
Download the countries and nationality list (CSV) for the full list of countries with their code values. Send the code value (for example IN for India or US for United States) in the nationality key. Do not send the country name or the nationality text from the file.
